The Cambridge Science Festival is going on from 4/17-4/26/2015. I got a chance to stop in at the Boston Makers events, take some pictures, and help kids learn about science and technology. Check out this list of science festivals to find one in your area.

Musically inspired paper circuits
There were a range of projects, but the paper circuits were by far my favorite. Kids were getting really creative with the combination of paper and tech.

Folding light up paper cubes
Kids and their families were folding paper cubes and lighting them up with coin cell batteries and LEDs.

Kids at play with LittleBits
In addition, there were plenty of LittleBits in action. Kids learned how to connect sensors, lights, and speakers to create an endless variety of projects.

Squishy circuits made from conductive and insulating dough
And even the youngest kids found something to play with at the squishy circuits table.
It was a great day, and there are many more events throughout the week. Find a science festival or maker faire in your area to join in the fun.
